Mr. Coffee 112435-000-000 Brew Basket

Works!

Can’t find the brew basket anywhere locally – pretty much you’d have to buy a new coffee machine, and I didn’t want to spend the $30-$50 to replace a machine pretty much works for this piece of plastic where the spring on the bottom popped out and for whatever reason my wife decided to throw out without thinking about the functionality (keeps the water from dripping out too quickly – thus allowing water to taste like coffee).

Anyway, it works. And I’m tasting my coffee again. A little bit pricey for a piece of plastic, but better than throwing out a coffee maker and getting a new one. I use this for my Mr. Coffee 12-cup coffee maker.

Two different models…??

I ordered three of these as I replace them on a regular basis. This makes for better coffee. This brewer is used in my office for myself and my office mates… when I ordered these, for some reason the vendor (Buy-It-Now) sent me two different models of this product.

For some reason, the -5 model has raised ribs that support the Mr. Coffee WF10 Water Filter frame properly and the -12 unit does not, it has sloped ribs that allow the WF10 to slip and tilt inside. This is not a huge deal, because I can use the -12 model without the Water Filter frame.

Although the -12 model says it supports the Water Filter, it seems to always tend to fall inside the basket and just isn’t supported properly.

Now I can’t tell you why there are two different models, I can’t tell you why the vendor shipped me two different models within a single…

I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THE MR COFFEE BASKET !!!

Thank you for getting the basket to me so quickly. It works perfectly and not only did I save money, but I didn’t have to buy the whole coffeemaker. In todays economy, saving money is so importantly.
