Seems to be working great. I had some hard water deposits in my electric kettle already, so I used vinegar to descale it. Then I put in the Kettle Kleen Kettle De-Scaler, and after a month of use, the kettle still looks good.

Keeps stainless steel kettle amazingly clean

I keep this in my stainless steel electric teakettle, and it works great! I’ve had it for several years and there’s no hard water stain build-up ever! I liked this simple solution so much I bought 2 more; one to give to my mom, and one for work.

These things are so hard to find in the US! I got mine from Amazon when it was over $5 and now it is $3. I use it in my distiller which tends to get scale after every use. Hate to use vinegar because it finally ate thru one of my previous distillers after a while. Since the distiller’s boiler is quite a bit larger than a stainless electric tea kettle it is not as efficient but does help. Think I will get a couple more at the lowered price.
