Cuisinart Stainless Steel Chopping Blade

It really fits my twenty-plus-year old food processor!

We bought our Cuisinart food processor for our second anniversary. It has outlasted our marriage for more than a decade. I was saddened when I was processing some garlic and cilantro a few weeks ago to hear a cracking sound. Stopped and looked and a piece of the blade where there are rivets underneath had broken. Truth is, this blade just wasn’t as sharp as it once was for awhile. But I ASSUMED I would have to replace the whole thing eventually. But when I heard the snap and crack, I turned to Amazon, found replacement blades and then looked to the Cuisinart website and double-checked serial numbers. Although $15 seemed high to salvage a processor when you can buy a new off-brand one for not much more, I knew my processor was worth saving. The first night it came in, I showed my kids and my ten year-old said, "Oh, it’s a different color than ours." I had to explain the ravages of time and carrots to him. In any case, it fits perfectly, works like new and I’m not…

Fits perfectly, chops stuff into small bits.

This part does exactly what you hope and expect. It fits, spins and chops. Now my $6 thrift-shop Cuisinart is good as new.

Chopping well again

My Cuisinart is old and working well. I hadn’t thought about how old the blade was, but when the new one arrived I could see (and feel) the difference. Good price and should have bought years ago.
