Cuisinart DLC877BGX Work Bowl Cover With Large Feed Tube

Does not fit

I purchased this work bowl cover to replace a cracking work bowl cover on my current Cuisinart Food Processor. Unfortunately, it does not fit my existing base. The product description does not include sufficient information to determine which food processor model it belongs to. This may be the bowl for the Pro Custom 11(tm) Food Processor. I am ordering my new replacement direct from Cuisinart where the replacement parts are clearly listed for current models.

Works perfectly

The work bowl cover is working perfectly with a Cuisinart DLC 8-Plus that was received as a gift in 1987, more than 25 years ago.

the right replacement

Now my old dependable Cuisinart is back in service. The service is prompt. People who were dissatisfied with this part must have ordered the wrong one.

Due to the design by Cuisinart, this is the most fragile part on the machine. In the 20+ years I have had my Cuisinart, this is the second replacement. The other part I have replaced in the past is the work bowl. The large feed tube snaps into the work bowl.

The work bowl probably will be the next thing to go. I do give them heavy use, averaging use of at least once a day. It is nice to know that I can so easily order these through Amazon now.
