Replaced broken unit

This cover was an exact replacement for what I broke, thank goodness–there is no way to use the food processor without the locking mechanism on this and the workbowl. I wish these plastic accessory parts for old Cuisinarts lasted longer. The motor unit just never gives up no matter what I throw at it, but I’ve had to replace workbowls and covers several times over the 25 years I’ve used the thing.

This work bowl cover was just what Ineeded to replace mine. It came quickly and allows me to use my food processor again. I was glad I could purchase only the cover and not have to purchase the entire pusher assembly

Perfect fit for a very old DC-7 workbowl

A perfect replacement for the lid on my venerable DLC-7 series food processor (built in Japan, so built before 1985). Over the years there have been design changes for the DLC-7 series Cuisinart food processors affecting the work bowl, lid, and food pusher. I have an original work bowl that is amber, not gray like most current replacement parts. Another website recommended buying a complete replacement set – at about three times the cost of this lid – to be sure that everything would fit. However, at least in my case, that was not necessary. If you have a made-in-Japan DLC-7, this will probably be the right replacement lid for you, too!
