~ NICE BIG PIE BIRD ~
I Like this Pie Bird it helps me Bake Good Pies. The Pie Birds prevent the Pie filling from boiling up and leaking through the Crust and keeping the Bottom Pie Dough from turning Soggy. I collect and got many of them and they do work. Every time I make a Pie according to the Pie size, I select one Pie Bird and put it on top of the very center of the Bottom Pie Dough and it makes it Crisp and Flaky by releasing the Steam through his Beak and working as a Funnel.
The Spode Woodland Pie Bird is Big, Measures 4.2 Inches High by 2 -1/2 Inches Wide and he is also well Painted. The Pie Bird is Hallow, Empty in the Inside and it has Archs/Openings on the Edge of the Botton of his Feet which is very good for the Steam to go through. The Pie Bird arrived in a Box inside an Envelope without any Problems. …Thank You D.D.
