Like it but Too Expensive Through Amazon
This is a great product for cleaning espresso machines but I found it was overpriced through Amazon. I paid 9.95 for the 4 oz size. The Amazon price is currently 14.95 (with a promotion to get it back to 9.95 if other related items are purchased). The Seattle Coffee Gear price is 3.99 and Whole Latte Love has it for 5.25. I guess it is a case of buyer beware.
The Espresso Machine Cleaning Problem Solver
Joe Glo is the simple answer for quick and easy espresso machine maintenance. A quarter teaspoon in a ‘dummy’ filter followed by several cycles of on and off for the pump and the screen and back flow valve and all associated plumbing are clean. Loosen the porta filter head with the dummy in place and run the pump while you wiggle the porta filter handle and the gasket area too is left clean. (Follow up all the above with just water to remove all the Joe Glo to complete the job.
Dissolve a little Jo Glo in a small container of hot water and submerge the porta filter head and basket, let soak, then rinse and they too will be sparkling clean.

I haven’t tried other brands other than cafriza but I notice I a bowl of hot water I can soak my group head brush in it for a few seconds and it comes out looking brand new, but still chewed up from the vigorous brushing.
