This product is a waste of money. I tried course grounds, fine grounds and everything in between. I used no filter, single and double filters in an attempt to allow the hot water to properly soak the grounds and pull out the maximum flavor…to no avail. The coffee comes out looking more like a weak tea every time. In comparing the design of the single use k cups and the reusable, the reuseable design does not allow for the hot water to pressurized within the cup and then exit from a small opening. This is essential to produce the same result as the single use cups. The reusable simply allows the water to pass over the grounds, leaving most of the flavor behind. My search continues.
A great Keurig companion
I purchased them several months ago and here’s my opinion.
What’s Good.
I choose the coffee.
I choose the strenght
The capacity allows for a BOLD cup of coffee (Holds more coffee)
Huge cost savings per cup compared to pre made K-Cups.
What’s not so Good
Clean up – Although they can be washed in the dishwasher, I usually clean them by hand.
You have to take the factory lower pin / funnel piece out to use this.
Prep – After some trial & error I came up with a simple way to fill the tiny filter.
All that said, its still worth it. You just have to work out the logistics but you get a really good cup of coffee at a great price.
Good product
These are genuine Keurig filters. I use them daily, and they work well, provided they are kept clean. The price was great as well.
