great part – hard to replace

Got exactly what I was looking for, nice blades and washers every thing you need to replace the blender assembly in bottom of craft / jar.

Mine was from my grandmother and is well over 50 years old.

The older style did not have a nut on the inside so trying to unscrew the old assembly results in the whole assembly just spinning and not coming apart. Trick was to turn the jar upside down and place over a small wooden post then jam a screwdriver in the slot around the part that needs to be held to unscrew the nut. It ended up chewing into the old assembly and breaking little pieces but who cares it is being replaced.

Wish they had sent the diag. on how the washers should be installed as the old ones I could not see which ones went on the glass etc. had to get the diag. from Waring on line.
