A nice Tamper that fits

Finally a tamper that fits my machine. We have a Ponte Vecchio manual machine that has an unusual basket size. It is funny how the plastic tampers that come with the espresso machines never really fit. This one is nice and solid. The handle has a good knob to grab onto and it is so nice to pack a shot right.

Fits perfectly.

I use this particular tamper for a vintage La Riviera Eagle espresso machine. The tamper appears to be made to fit the basket of this particular portafilter perfectly (say that 5x fast).

Excellent

I bought this because I needed to make it 1.2 inches wide. Took it to a machine shop and it’s perfect. It did not make sence but buy a Reg Barber to take to a machine shop. Great taper for the money.
