Cleans Like a Breeze
I’m particular about my coffee which is why I grind whole beans from a local roaster each morning. This product insures that residue left after the daily grinding of beans can be cleaned out without harming my grinder or my next cup of coffee. I use every couple of months. I weigh out about 25-30 grams of the pellets. Always grind a small amount of beans after which must be thrown away to remove all traces of the cleaner. A soft bristle brush is helpful too.
Great way to clean your grinder!
This is awesome. I use to take my grinder apart to clean it. What a pain that is. About the same time I heard about this product I was also told that regular white rice does the same thing. It is supposedly the starch that grabs the oils from your machine and cleans it. So they both work.
So basically use a quarter cup of rice in your Burr Grinder or follow the directions for this. I already purchased Grindz so when I run out I will use Rice and switch it up a bit. My Grinder cost me close to $900.00 and I want to maintain it the best I can. I would think that Grindz is a safer bet but the rice works just as well for me. I am not saying to use rice but if you need to clean up your grinder in a hurry, you can always experiment like I did. Good luck!

This is an absolutely fantastic product. It keeps my Mazzer Mini grinder cleaned out very nicely. It absorbs coffee oils well and is easy to use. Lasts a long time – I use once a month and you only have to use a few grams of product each time for good results.
