A classic
Got mine in bright green. Even though it is not one of the classic colors, in which this item was offered originally, it is a great, comtemporary vacuum jug. It holds the temperature fairly well.
If you like well designed and well made, this one is a must.
Form and Function
This is nothing short of beautiful. I own 3 of them, two large and one small, all in Stainless Steel.
The carafe is easy to use, and you can even fit most conventional plastic filters over the spout to make coffee right in the pot. I bought my coffee filter, along with the carafe in Denmark, but I think you can use the Alfi Aroma 3-Part Coffee Filter – that should fit. The only criticism about the carafe is that the it does not keep hot liquids as long as I would expect — within an hour, that piping hot coffee is no longer piping hot. So I don’t use this everyday, just when entertaining and I want something special on the table.
