The corner edge is genius!
A tamping mat with the corner edge is genius. No movement when you’re tamping and less dirt getting underneath it ‘cuz it doesn’t move.
Works as expected
This is somewhat overpriced for what it is, but it does provide a good surface for tamping a portafilter, allowing the extensions on the bottom to sit off the counter. I was surprised that Amazon’s price, fulfilled by Espresso Parts, was lower than buying from Espresso Parts directly. Not a very good way to attract business directly to Espresso Parts.
