Plastic parts are not quite the same quality as those that came with the original jar but still good nonetheless.
Perfect Replacement Piece
We received an Oster BLSTAS-BC 8 Speed Blender for a wedding gift. Unfortunately, a drawer fell and broke the jar. We were worried that we would have to buy a new blender, which we didn’t want to do, because the blender base still functioned perfectly. After much research, I determined that this piece should fit our blender. It’s always a toss up when ordering online, because you never know if you might get the product wrong. When the jar arrived, we snapped it right into place. It fits perfectly. While it doesn’t look exactly like the old one in coloring (we had a silver base), all other aspects of the jar are exactly the same. We are extremely pleased.
Replacement
I wish it also came in plastic……so there is a less chance of breaking it again. Lol It is very thick glass though
