Perfect Size and Great Quality
As an amateur home barista I really didn’t want something that would be large and hard to hide away when not using it. The Splat Mat is more than large enough to work under my bottomless PF and fits under the front of my Spro Machine when not in use.
The quality is perfect and it gets people wondering what it is, which leads to me making coffee. Which is always a good thing.
Buy it. If you are here looking at accessories for your home coffee setup this is a no brainer. BUY IT ALREADY!!
Essential Espresso Accessory
While it doesn’t really resemble a coffee spill, the Cafelat Rubber Splat Tamping Mat still fulfills its purpose and is cool, in a funky way. It is sturdy and protects your countertop from the 30+ lbs. of pressure required to tamp your shots of espresso. I noticed none of the smell that other tamping mats have received comments about and the thickness of the pad has held up very well over repeated use. Shipping speed was much quicker than quoted. I recommend this product.
Excellent Cafelat Quality and Edgy Design
Serves its purpose well. Good quality rubber, without rough edges or bits of rubber. Like all Cafelat products this is well made. Design is quite eye catching.
