Once you start using the SodaStream you will realize that one bottle is not enough. If you want to chill water, you’ll want an extra bottle or two on hand. We chill our RO water before adding the carbonation, and having an extra bottle on hand makes carbonating water for immediate use a quick task.

Nice, but too expensive… I have another solution
I have a SodaStream and wanted to get some extra glass bottles. you definitely will need them. i bought some glass bottles with snap-on water-tight seals for $1.99 at Marshall’s instead. You can’t use them in the machine, but you can pour the carbonated water into them and also store extra water in the fridge to keep cold. i have a Revolution, so it doesnt take glass bottles anyway during the carbonation process. These bottles are nice, but a rip-off.
