NOT For KitchenAid Tilt-Head 5-quart Mixer! I contacted KitchenAid with this question: “RE: Artisan tilt-head 5-quart Mixer. Please tell me if the spiral dough hooks will fit? (Not the “C” hook that comes with the mixer, I’m asking about the optional “S” spiral dough hook.)”
An excerpt from the KitchenAid Response was as follows, “Unfortunately, there is no spiral dough hook that is compatible with your model stand mixer.”

We’ve had our Kitchenaid mixer for about 14 years and we had the old dough hook that came with it. That one had the flat top and it didn’t work too well. It finally died and we needed to replace it, but weren’t sure if this hook would work. We took a chance and purchased it and it fits perfectly and works like a charm!

The item is great. It was a Christmas present for my partner, and she loved it. Used it a few times already, and raves about it.
