Improves Coffee Taste Considerably

As of this writing they have the OLD cleaning tablets in the image.

The newer style “2 phase” cleaning tablets are white at the base and blue at the rounded tip.

While the Jura-Capresso machines will signal you when to do a cleaning, I generally do one more frequently (when I taste a difference in the coffee, on average every couple weeks or so, depending on usage). The coffee flavor is much improved after cleaning because oils and other residuals inside the machine are dissolved and flushed away. (When I notice a bit of an “ashtray” taste, I do a cleaning and the problem is solved.)

Regular cleaning and decalcifying both help to keep these machines running problem free for years, and not keeping the machines on all day when not in use improves their lifespan too (gaskets inside the machine last longer and so on). I have mine set to turn off after an hour by itself if I don’t make a cup of coffee and I haven’t had any issues in over three years of…

There are enough tablets in this bottle to give you time to forget the expense………til next time. But we do love our Jura, don’t we?
