What a deal!!!
I got sick and tired of buying these things 40-ct box at a time. Problem now solved. $0.016 per…..You do the math. 600-pk of Melitta’s is $21.88 ($0.036 per). I can’t see or taste any difference. These are well-made, quality filters.
Slightly slower than Melitta, but PLENTY GOOD ENOUGH for the price.
These filters work just fine, albeit a little slower than the Melitta micro-perf #2 filters. However, the price to performance difference totally blows the Melitta filters out of the water.
The problem I’ve run into with both the BrewRite and Melitta is that new filters tenaciously stick to each other at the crimped edges. That little issue makes it tough to separate out a single one for use. However, BrewRite does have a little tab that makes the job easier. To totally solve the problem, I put the filters in a plastic 6″x4″ card box (see the picture I’ve added above). Once the filters have set on edge for a while, they tend to relax their grip.
Here is an example of a box that Amazon sells: Esselte Ess-01461 Plastic Index Card Box With Lid – 400 X Card – External Dimensions 4 Height X 6 Width X – Plastic – Black
STAPLES has the box in their store, so no shipping charge.
cofee filters
This product is thin allowing the coffee to flow better and at the same time rigid not allowing any solid matter to go through. When wet can be lifted without falling apart and doesn’t have any test or smell that can contaminate the coffee.
