Perfect Tea
This tea kettle makes water the perfect temperature for loose and bagged teas. Since it is completely enclosed without any coils or wires, I just put the tea into the kettle and let it seep. When the interior of the pot does show some staining, I just fill the kettle and put in a dose of polident and let the bubbles do the rest. I am an old(er) women and have consumed a lot of tea. This is the very best method I have ever found.
All that a Kettle should be
There is no fill level indicator on this kettle, by experience with other kettles shows that these can scale up quickly, and are of minimal use. I lift the kettle to judge if I need to put in water.
Other than that, it’s rugged and hasn’t failed me yet after several months of frequent use, unlike my previous two plastic upright kettles.

Gave it 4 because I miss the whistle when the water is boiling on the old one, but love the fact that it shuts off when it reaches a boil. So, I don’t have to worry about it boiling dry and being a fire hazard. The steel body keeps the water hot for a good while, even if you forgot you were boiling water.
